Problems with lanes:
Start with minor things first. The pit curtains on lanes 4 & 6 fell off multiple times. Lane 4 had a couple of deck jams, and lane 5 have a few turnaround pan jams.
Now for the major occurrence. Lane 5's motor nearly started a fire tonight. This was due to the motor drive belt falling off and tightly wedging itself between the pulley and the machine. Unable to move but trying to work, this caused lane's motor to smoke heavily. The smell filled the bowling side for hours, and still lingers after having the doors left open for a period of time. I think a possible cause of the motor belt falling off may have been during a turnaround pan jam when a pin fell in between the motor and clutch belts. I removed the pin and the machine seemed to be working but it wasn't long afterwards when I went to the pit to investigate the smell and saw the smoke. Currently the motor is unplugged & still cooling and the belt is off the pulleys. the machine has not been run since so unsure of whether or not the motor burnt itself out or not.
