Problems with lanes:
Lane 5! After dropping the pins from the turret to the deck, the turret wouldn't index meaning the machine would stick in the 270 position and not move. The only thing thing that would get it to work would be to manually trip the index lever for each cycle. I don't know why the probe didn't move from around the blocking fingers after the 5pin indexed but I called Danny who told me that this problem had been 5's initial problem a few days ago. Alas, back to square two (hopefully).

Finally got 5 up and running last time. Got the time delay gear replaced and the PROPER bearing in the right place. It ran the majority of the night last night and did just fine.

6 was kept down last night. The elevator belt kept popping off. This is due to to much movement being caused by the lower, right hand ball wheel guide roller was ALL kind of messed up. It was pretty much totally stripped to nothing, which was not giving it the support it needed, so it was moving like something that was moving, to much... yep

Also, Replaced some of the turret connector screws, it was missed like 3 of them, caused the turret/spider to slide, which makes me sad. Everything should work like a charm tonight.

The big news is lane 5. What seemed to be a small problem yesterday (not indexing after dropping the 5 pin) turned into a very big ordeal. The teeth on the time delay gear we gnarled up, in turn, wouldn't spin. We surprisingly had an extra in a box. In order to access the time delay gear, you have to take the entire turret assembly apart, which is a pretty big deal. Now I've only done this once in school, and it was on a new model machine. So there were a ton of differences, which is why it took so long, cuz I was learning was I went. Anyways, long story short, I got it to work. The time delay gear was in fact the problem, woohoo. But, in the bad news, it started doing something else. The turret started doing multiple indexes, every now and again, and it soon became just non stop indexing. I have worked and worked and worked on it, but can't seem to figure it out. After working on it till 3 AM last night and coming in today at opening at 10 AM and closing it down, working on this machine non stop, my brain is fried, 100%. I need some rest and come back at it with a fresh rested mind. I also emailed my pinsetting teacher, he is normally good about replying back to me with good ideas. it will be up and running asap.

Fixed skeeball 3's problem with not wanting to do free play. Had to replace some wiring.

Cleaned out some of the corner and tried to organize for the new shelves moving in.

Aside from that, we had PP's all day and wasn't able to really work on the lanes. But everything ran fine.

The pin on lane 5's solenoid rod came off again. Brian was here to fix that up for me while I dealt with a oil leak on lane 4.

Replaced the ticket dispenser on skeeball 2. Going to order another one when I get the thumbs up.

7 kept loosing power, like in the previous blogs. We are starting to believe this is a result of one or two components over heating. One being the motor and the other being the clutch disc assembly. The machine ran for hours on end, due to the two very long private that were back to back. I have some further things to look into, in terms of fixing it, and a couple of ideas. Which I will start applying and see what happens.

Aside from that and the normal bullshit, nothing new.

I am sending out the change machine tomorrow to get it fixed, should take a couple of weeks.

I came in early today to look at lane 7, it was acting like a fool for Kristin last night. I couldn't fine anything to fishy, but it was also running the majority of the night, so I will investigate further tomorrow.

Lane 2 disengaged it's self a couple of times, back to back, which was strange. I will look into that more tomorrow as well.

I will also work on the various other things the lanes have been doing, the things that was now become "normal". I'll see what I can do with that.

Problems with lanes:

There was one anomaly tonight: Lane 7.

Lane 7 decided it would have the open circuit problem generally perpetrated by lane 4. However, lane 7 had the problem 4 times tonight. What happens is that the lane will randomly power down due to a circuit somehow becoming "open." What one has to do is "close" the circuit by resetting it - however, usually this only happens once a night, every...well, not often. That it happened four times tonight, within the span of 5 hours is worrisome.

Problems with lanes:

3 - She did something a little different tonight. At one point, the right side of the ball wheel popped off from around the wheel, as it has done in the past. Usually balls can get past no problem but an 8lb ball must've gotten stuck in just the riiiight spot because it caused the ball wheel to just stop turning. It made the worst squealing noise ever. Had to turn the machine off and beat the ball out of the ball accelerator arm in order for the ball wheel to be able to turn again.

4- Deck jams in the 7pin housing. Tonight the head of the pin became stuck in between the deck opening and the wheel next to the the 7pin housing. Weird.

5- A couple of nasty turnaround pan jams. The pins are getting stuck in a different pattern here as well, with one pin not even on the pan or the cross conveyor but wedged in midair in such a way as to disturb things.

6- Clutch drive belt came off once. Also there was one incident of the sneaky 5pin release.

7-Turret stopped once after the 2nd pin.

And in skeeball news, 2 is alll kinds of weird. The lips that the tickets feed through is out of alignment and then there's a ticket jam that I don't know how to get out aside from maybe taking it apart.

No problems at all with the lanes or skeeball.

Worked with Dylan today, he had a great memory of everything. Taught him a couple of the new things the lanes be doing, and I believe he is going to be just fine tomorrow morning.

The Night was pretty smooth.

The wires in Skeeball three had come lose, once again. I reattached them, it has been fine since.

The ball wheel belt on lane 2 had become so ripped and gnarled up, that it refused to stay on. It kept popping off. So, even though it was poor timing, happening on a Friday night and all, but they have minds of their own. I changed the ball wheel belt, and it has been running fine.

That was our last replacement ball wheel belt, so I am going to order a couple more.

I came in early to check on lane 3. The ball wheel belt was indeed falling off left and right. I changed some of the lips on the upper left and right side guide rollers, these were the reason the belt kept coming off. It ran the rest of the night and seemed fine.

I also reconnected and the wires on Skeeball 3, and taped the shit out of them, if handled correctly, they should stay intact.

Aside from all of that, it was a smooth the night. The lanes has quite of bit of use, and not a lot of problems. A turn around pan jam, a fallen off belt and...well...that is about it. Until tomorrow, Highball

Problems with lanes:
3 - Agghhhh, I thought the day's of 3's ball wheel belt problems were over but it seems they just lay dormant until now. It kept popping off on the left side, only did it a few times. After the first time I put it back on, it was fine for 2 hours and then popped off again. After that, it was only 20 minutes before the next time. I put it back on. I suspect it is the completely disintegrated ball wheel guide lip that is the problem. It needs to be replaced or I fear this will happen more frequently now that it's in a sad state of disrepair.

4& 5- Deck jams! Just a couple
