Problems with lanes:
Lane 5- a lot of turnaround pan jams. Tried cleaning it but didn't help much.

Lane 6- Had some return problems with a 15lb ball and a personal ball of unknown weight. They would get stuck at the top of the ball wheel accelerator arm. Pushed them through manually.

Lane 7- The cross conveyor stopped a couple of times for no reason.

Other than that, no real issues.

Actions Taken:
Mentioned above.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes): Lane 5's pan!

Problems with lanes:Pretty much everything that Kristin said in her last blog happened to me.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes):

Ordering: Need to order some socket head screws for lane 4 but I need to take one out and measure it so I know what size to order.

Problems with lanes:
Lane 4 - Turret jam followed by a deck jam but only happened once tonight.

Lane 5 - Several turnaround pan jams tonight. Not sure why. I cleaned the pan thoroughly with degreaser and it seemed to hold up a bit better after.

Lane 6 - Dropped in only the 5pin but that didn't trigger the release of the rest of the deck. That happened twice.

Lane 7 - The cross conveyor stopped loading right before the 5pin a couple of times.

Lane 8 - One deck jam in the 7pin housing and a couple of turret stops after the 2nd pin was loaded.

Actions Taken:
The usual methods~~

Problems with lanes:Lane 4 had a couple deck jams and pin stuck between the shaker board and the ball wheel that caused it to shut down.

Lane 5 had a couple turnaround pan jams.

That's about it. Everything else ran fine.

Problems with lanes:
Lane 4 - the open circuit problem reared its head once tonight. Did the usual reset method to close it and it was fine for the rest of the night despite being used heavily.

Lane 7 - Powered down for no reason tonight. Could not get it back on. I know Danny had some troubles with this as well so maybe he can trace the source.

Lane 8 - There was one deck jam in the 7pin housing.

Actions Taken:
The usual and it worked save for 7.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes):
Lane 7 being EVIL.

Fixed SB 1's scoring problems, should be scoring properly now.

Lane 6: Took of the ball wheel roller assembly that seems to keep slipping, cleaned it all off (in hopes it was slipping due to dirt and grease). And of course put it back on. Tried to cut off some parts of the ball return padding and fix the tape job, it was pretty messed up.
Also might have found why it does the weird "dropping" the 5 pin stunt, but will have to wait till out demel comes back to try and fix it. If thats not the problem, I've been given other ideas thanks to bowl tech.

Lane 4: Worked on the screws involved with it's turret problems that have been making all of us sad.

Lane 7: Tried to get to the bottom of this disengaging it's self shit. I tried a new adjustment, yea, that's right...brand spanking new. I sat there and resat it tons of times, and it never did it. I am not declaring it to be fixed, but I might be able to make the claim soon.

Problems with lanes: Nothing was really too bad today. Let's do a quick rundown:

Lane 5 - The pit curtain fell off today.

Lane 6 - Had trouble returning balls of all sizes today.

Lane 7 - Was only attempted to be sat once because it didn't engage itself.

Lane 8 - The turret stopped after the 2nd pin once.

Actions Taken:

The usual methods for the usual problems.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes): Lane 6's returning problems. Probably just needs a ball wheel adjustment.

Problems with lanes:
Lane 4 - Balls like to get stuck underneath the ball wheel arm accelerator. That happened twice to where it was perfectly wedged between the arm and the ball wheel with no movement capable at all.

Lane 5 - Maybe the 8lb balls where slippery but they had a tendency to just sit at the bottom and spin but not move.

Lane 7 - It wasn't really sat tonight but when Chevy tried bowling on it, it did not want to engage. Neither reset button worked on it.

Lane 8 - The 2nd pin did not land properly in the turret a couple of times.

Actions Taken:
the usual methods. Nothing too big tonight.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes): Lane 7, for sure. And Danny calling himself "sexy dan" and broadcasting. I know everyone said you looked good last night, Danny, but don't get cocky.

Sexy Dan is back with your local bowling news.
Balls, balls, balls. Where did all the balls go? There were all returns problems all over today.
Lanes 2 and 4 both partook of not wanting to return balls, but it was definitely lane 6 that took the lead! Even after a nice ball wheel adjustment, he still didn't want to return balls.
Lane 6 was always in the mood to drop that stinky little 5 pin, but nothing else. We go live to one of the Highball Mechanics with the rest of the story. "Well, it started doing that weird 5 pin thing a lot, almost every 5 minutes or so. So I went up there and poked around, lubed some stuff, bent some stuff, it aint done it since."

Coming up next, We all thought we knew lane 7, but apparently we didn't even know the half of it....Ok, enough fun and games. Lane 7 was being WEIRD tonight! Numerous times, I'd see the ball/pin wheels stop rolling, along with the shaker board. Shortly after, the lane would loose all power. The motor did seem a bit hot, I really couldn't tell if it was TO hot or not though. So I put a little fan on it anyways. When I turned it back on, it was either do nothing, or just the 1st+2nd ball lights would come on, or all the lights would come on but the motor, wheels and anything would turn. So I would trip the breaker, fuck with this and that and eventually it would start again. This happened about 5 times. Finally I had a chance to shut it down, I made some adjustments to the clutch lever and yoke. For some reason I thought they might have something to do with it. After which, it started disengaging it's self more, but not turning it's self off, so I can't say it is fixed. But keep an eye out for it! It's really strange.

Other then that, just ball return problems, ALL OVER THE PLACE. I am guessing it is because the lanes got oiled for the first time in forever today.

I replaced the Solenoid on SB# 3 and lubed up some parts, seems to be working fine.

I also fixed that tilting problem Damon told me about on SK# 1.

Also, Checking about the screw(lock) thing on SB# 2, Damon said it was having problems, but I got it to lock and open many times with no problems.

I now know which machines have what scoring problems, so I will tackle that next time.

LANE 8: I some of the broken turret wires, so hopefully it will freeze up less.

LANE 4: I Tightened those Allen bolts on the turret assembly that was causing problems.

And varies basics maintenance and cleaning on machines..

Thanks for reading, signing off, your truly.... Sexy Dan

woo hoo!

Problems with lanes:
Lane 2 - It didn't engage once, which was ODD as lane 2 doesn't generally have that issue.

Lane 5 - One turnaround pan jam.

Lane 7 - Didn't fully engage itself tonight either. She and 2 were buddies but it only happened once.

Lane 8 - Twice, the turret became stuck on the 2nd pin.

Everything went relatively smoothly tonight. Good girls.

Lane 4 had a deck jam...that is all I got to say on that subject.

Also, the lane machine is fixed, so I will get with Brian and we will figure out an oiling schedule that will be sure to please even the worst of critics.

Now, it's time for BYOP (Bring your own Punchline)

7: I haven't seen it do this in a while, but it disengaged it's self while setting pins, twice.

6: I took off the broken ball wheel roller, replaced the broken side by robing the plate from a similar scrap roller, it seems to be running pretty good. It did have that weird, "only dropping the 5 pin" thing once. The pin gate also locked once after the 5 pin index, not allowing the rotation to start again.

That is all, pretty smooth night.

6: The screws came loose on the right hang guide roller, on 6's ball wheel. Screwed em back in, worked fine.

1: Replaced the 1 pin's chute, and it did not jam the rest of the night.

4: Had two weird deck jams, going to look into it tomorrow morning.

I am also going to try and order that part this is needed for the lane machine tomorrow.

Problems with lanes:
Lane 2 - Had a couple of turret jams and one deck jam tonight.

Lane 5 - No turnaround pan jams! Go 5! It did have a rather bad deck jam today, in the 7 & 8 pin housing and pins all over the deck. I think the spider didn't move out of the way when the pins dropped.

Lane 6 - Problem child of the bunch today. The ball wheel belt came off twice. The first time was due to losing a screw from the broken guide wheel (which I replaced and added another, bringing the total to 3 screws. woot.) The second time it popped off from the bottom pulley by the shakerboard belt and came undone everywhere. It seems to be fine now but the night wasn't very busy after I put the belt back on so it's hard to gauge.

Detailed above.

Problems with lanes:
Lane 1 - The housing for lane 1 has split itself into three pieces and ripped itself off the base save for one bolt. I duct taped it back on. It's been causing a couple of deck jams since and also, at times, the 1pin isn't set only to then drop two of them onto the lane the next frame.

Lane 2 - Deck jams! There were a few deck jams due to the spider not locking itself into place after the pins were released. There were many times were the pins were just laying on the deck, waiting to cause a deck jam. EVIL.

Actions Taken:
The usual and what's mentioned above.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes): 1&2 are quite the pair today. OH and that annoying squeal 1 used to make has come back. It sounds worse but I think it's only because it's been quite for so long. Tried spraying wd40 to no avail.
