Problems with
Lane 1 - Heaver balls tend to get stuck on the first part of the track, right where it meets the second part.

Lane 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 - Heavier balls get stuck (generally 16lb) and the new 10lb balls. They also all had the problem of the balls just spinning at the bottom of the wheel and not moving towards the ball return. The worst is lane 5 - Every ball would spin in place and not move where it should though the others did it many times as well.

Lane 7 - One of the belts on the motor fell off of lane 7 somehow.

Actions Taken:
Ball problems - moved by hand.

Lane 7 - put the belt back on. Worked fine the rest of the night.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes):
The balls are too slick to move up the ball wheel it seems or just spin in place. I vote for the strips as 7 is the only one that didn't have that problem tonight.

Problems with lanes:
Lane 4 - the ball wheel needs to be adjusted. It was hellish tonight, not returning any size ball. Plus there didn't seem to be enough tension so the ball would get stuck at the very bottom of the wheel, virtually having to be picked up in the return as it wouldn't slide.

Lane 6 - the ball wheel belt came off. I put it back on three times and it came off once I turned it on. I think I'm missing a part where it may be caught but I can't find it as of now.

Lanes with ball returning problems even after being adjusted and working fine for a period of time - 3 (only with 16lb balls), 4 (every ball), 5, & 6.

I think the strips should be put on those lanes. It would definitely help.

Actions Taken:
I spent all day tinkering with the lanes and got them to work somewhat decently for a period.
Lanes 3/4 :Basically adjusted the ball wheel

Lane 5 - readjusted the spring on the ball arm.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes): Balls. And the belt on 6.

Ball problems

Name: Kristin
Date: 5/29

Problems with lanes:

All of the lanes but 1,2, and 7 had problems returning balls.

Lane 5 - When I tried to adjust the ball wheel, I noticed that it didn't help the return at all. Upon investigation, I saw that the ball return arm was very loose and able to move forward with little pressure. However, even though I tightened the bolts as far as they would go, this didn't stop the entire arm from moving.

Actions Taken:
Adjusted the ball wheels on 3,4,5,6,& 8. The only one I was able to see results on was lane 6 as I had to wait for others to stop bowling. However, lane 6 didn't have balls stuck for the rest of the night.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes):
Lane 5 can't return balls, at all because of the arm. Maybe I'm not doing tightening the jam nut properly.

Problems with lanes:7 would not realize it was full of pins and just keep sending them up. Only happened a couple times and then went back to normal
Actions Taken:Shut it down, removed the pins and let it roll and things would be alright.
Things to look out for (finicky lanes):Lane 7, the red headed step child.

Problems with lanes:
Lane 5 - Half of the light fixture on the lane came undone from the support, causing it to hang onto the lane. The light bulb popped out but didn't shatter.

Lane 7 - It didn't index two or three times after dropping the pins into the deck.

Actions Taken:
Lane 5 - Screwed it back into place. Seems stable enough.

Lane 7 - Indexed it manually.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes):
Keep an eye on 7. It wasn't a regular problem tonight though.

Problems with lanes:

Lane 3 - Not indexing after the second pin is dropped into the turret at times.

Lane 5/6 - Odd thing happened. There were some balls supposedly eaten by the lanes. Upon investigation, the balls were involved in a traffic jam on the ball return, with four or so balls on each side. Just a fluke but I found it entertaining.

Lane 7 - It had a party on it for two hours today, that only bowled maybe an hour and a half. It didn't index after dropping the pins into the deck about 96% of the time.

Actions Taken:

The usual for 3, and clearing for 5/6.

Lane 7 - Indexed the trip lever manually by hand by sitting on the lane the entire bowling period. Tried WD40, didn't work. For some reason, the spring just doesn't depress all the way when the pin is dropped into the 5pin chute. I noticed when dropping the pin in by hand, it would index properly. Maybe it is still somehow the tension in the spring.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes): 7, as usual.

Problems with lanes:

Lane 4 - Turned itself off twice today.

Actions Taken:
Reset it by the breaker button.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes):

Lane 7 wasn't sat today because it wasn't very busy and no one wanted to deal with it not indexing if it wasn't necessary.

Problems with lanes:
Lane 1 - Occasionally balls wouldn't move when at the top of the ball return, for no discernible reason.

Lane 4 - Went down twice today. Pin stuck in between the shakerboard and the pinwheel and the breaker needed to be reset on both occasions.

Lane 5 - A customer owned ball kept getting stuck in the ball return.

Lane 6 - a 16 lb ball repeatedly became stuck in the ball return.

Lane 7 - The frayed belt that Brian mentioned earlier became stuck. It also has trouble indexing after the pins drop into the deck.

Actions Taken:
The usual methods for lanes 1-6.

Lane 7 - Replaced the belt with Damon. It was running smoothly for a time and then the indexing problem became more frequent.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes):
Ball problems on the various lanes, maybe.

Lane 7 - The interlocking probe is getting stuck on the fingers so the lane won't turn. Watch out for that in the future.

Minor mishaps

Name: Kristin
Date: 5/17

Problems with lanes:

Lane 3 - the belt to the shakerboard slipped off once tonight.

Lane 7 - the lighter balls once again became stuck a few times on the lane.

Actions Taken:
Lane 3 - Put belt back on. Looked for cause of slippage, but didn't find anything.

Lane 7- Unstuck the balls.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes):
More of the same for both.

Lane 3

Name:Kristin
Date:5/16

Problems with lanes:

Lane 3 - The ball wheel belt slipped off lane 3. The belt that moves the shakerboard also slipped off, three times last night (once with the the belt and twice after that.)

Actions Taken:
Slipped the belts back on and checked the tension.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes):
They should be fine but, keep an eye out.

Ordering: It may be a good idea to get an extra belt for the ball wheels. The one on 3 looks worse for the wear.

Mostly fine

Name:Kristin
Date: 5/12

Problems with lanes:

Lane 4 - Once again needed to have the breaker button reset.

Lane 7 - Didn't trip the index lever for the 10 pin or the 7 pin at times. Also a few lightweight balls became stuck.

Actions Taken:
Lane 4 - reset the breaker.

Lane 7 - Unstuck the balls, helped the lever along.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes):

More of the same from both.

Lane troubles

Name:Kristin
Date:5/9

Problems with lanes:
Lane 6 - When I arrived at 6pm, I was informed that a pin was stuck between the ball wheel and the shakerboard. Cara unstuck it but noticed that the ball wheel was very very shaky, almost violently so. We didn't seat it for the rest of the night. The ball wheel acts as though half of it is somehow off track?

Lane 7 - Again, the pin guide at the end of the cross conveyor is somehow loosening both nuts on the bolts that hold the guide on. The nut on the bolt I replaced the other night somehow fell off, though it was perfectly tightened the other night. Something is unscrewing them.

Actions Taken:
Lane 6 - Searched and did not find a missing spring or a loose spring.

Lane 7 - Tightened the bolts as much as possible.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes):
Lane 7 - Deck jams and pins everywhere. What could be causing the bolts to unscrew themselves? The locking rings don't do their jobs.

Ordering:
We need to order a new lightbulb for the 2nd frame light for lane 5.

Lane 7

Name:Kristin
Date:5/7

Problems with lanes:

The pin guide on the cross conveyor for lane 7 keeps loosening itself. I would tighten the nut as needed.

Actions Taken:

I tightened the nuts, and actually replaced one bolt/nut. The other is stripped so I cannot remove it or reinforce it with another nut. Let's take some bolt cutter to it.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes):
The loosening of the nut and random deck jacks because of it.

Peachy

Name:Kristin
Date: 5/4

Problems with lanes:

Lane 2 - Had a deck jam today which was odd.

Lane 7 - It was sticking in various places, as in not engaging properly and the turret.

Actions Taken:
Lane 2 - removed pins.

Lane 7 - WD-40'd the engaging mechanism and tightened/loosened tension spring on indexing trip lever as necessary.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes):
Watch out for 7 and maybe 2, just in case.

Lane 7

Name:Kristin
Date: 5/1

Problems with lanes:

Lane 7 - I think the spring on the indexing trip lever is going out. 7 kept skipping pins and then, would get stuck too tight and keep indexing without pins in the turret.

Actions Taken:
Lane 3 - I noticed that the pin that usually causes the deck jams on the lane was able to do so because it would fall through the hole that was on the side of the pin cup/chute. I duct taped the hole and the pin didn't fall onto the deck or cause a jam for the rest of the night. Of course, the cup should probably just be replaced as the tape won't last forever but yay for temporary fixes!

Lane 7 - I tightened and loosened the nuts as necessary try and balance it out.

Things to look out for (finicky lanes):
Lane 7 is now having deck jams because of the weird turret action. woo.
