Problems with lanes:
Lane 5 - No turnaround pan jams! woohoo! There was a deck jam in the 5pin chute though, caused by a double dump into the 5 pin chute. Weird. Also, the pit curtain fell off.

Lane 6 - the problem child of the night! Upon first being turned on, the shakerboard belt fell off, then it proceeded to be very loud (as though something else was going to fall off) and the ball wheel was very loose and shaky. I tightened the ball wheel guides as tight as they could go, and somehow the ball wheel would continue to clank and be loose (only on the left side) and shake so much that it would loosen the ball wheel guide. It wasn't sat tonight.

Lane 7 - The usual stopping of the cross conveyor.

Lane 8 - The usual jam in the turret with the 2nd pin.

Actions Taken:
Lane 6 - Observed it with Chevy. It did work fine, aside from sounding awful but it wasn't necessary to seat tonight so it was kept off. Hopefully the problem can be detected tomorrow.

Problems with lanes:Lanes 6 and 4 were the little bitches of the night.
Six's shaker board belt cam off and the ball wheel belt came off also, multiple times. The ball belt came off from the left side and underneath though which was weird.
Four had deck jams, turret jams and the 5 pin would not initiate the pin release leaver.
Other than that shit was fine.

Actions Taken: Put belts back on and fixed the deck jams.

Aside from the normal pinsetting problems, nothing new to write home about. Good luck to everyone who touches these machines in my absence. I have already explained to them that daddy is going a away for a little while, and will be back very soon. Daddy is going to miss them very much, I said, I also made them all promise to be on their best behavior. But who knows, they are little bastards, all of them.

Problems with lanes:
Lane 4 - There were a couple of deck jams due to the housing on lane 4. I gave it a good duct taping today and so far it's fine...hopefully it will last until the new one comes in. Also, it needed to be reset at the breaker once.

Lane 5 - The light! gaaahh, it was being so finicky today. It refused to light up properly, and the usual methods just made it slip out of the housing. Twas evil.

Lane 6 - The shakerboard belt popped off again today.

Lane 7 - Did not index after the 2nd pin was dropped into the turret.

Lane 8 - Had a turret jam because the 2nd pin in the turret was crooked.

Actions Taken:
Lane 4 - Unjamming! Resetting!

Lane 5 - I pulled on of the strips of tape on the light fixture tighter and loosened the other for more wiggle room. It worked on my test so maybe it will be good tonight.

Lane 6 - Put the belt back on and once again, tightened the locking nut on the pulley to the best of my ability.

Lane 7 & 8 - The usual nudging.

First off, I ordered a 10 pin Chute for lane 4. It is all kinds of fucked up and is being held on by only one bolt. The housing for the other two have ripped apart. It was causing some jams, so I took the liberty of getting a new one. After I made that order, the cross conveyor drive belt on Lane 5 fell off, reminding me that I have been meaning to order replacements, because that one is really gnarly and bad. So I ordered those as well, sorry for the two separate orders, hopefully this combined them into one transaction.

Lane 5: a shit load of turn around pan jams, after a while I looked at the pan it's self and it was covered in dirt and grease looking shit. So I gave it a good degreasin' and it ran fine.
:Note, this happened last week with the same result: So that is something to lookout for if you are having a lot of jams.

That is about it

Problems with lanes:
Lane 1 - Ball wheel welding job came undone so hopefully it can be repaired soon.

Lane 3 - Back up and running! Damon installed the celunoid and 3 was fine all night.

Lane 5 - The usual turnaround pan jams.

Lane 6 - A few things happened. Balls were having some trouble returning to the lanes.

Actions Taken:
Twisted the foam around so that the rounded part, rather than the flat part, was what the ball hit. It worked well but those foam coverings kept twisting back.

Also, 6 had this weird thing happen where the 5pin would be the only pin sitting in the deck. When I tried to trip the lever so the pins would drop, it would only load the 5pin onto the floor. The chute index lever didn't have any tension at that time...it was rather odd. It would be fine the next cycle.

Oh, and fixed 6's shakerboard belt problem. The front pulley had a loose locking nut. Once tightened, seemed fine.

Lane 7 - The usual not finishing the cycle automatically.

Lane 8 - A couple of turret stops.

Actions Taken: Nudging and unjamming.

Lane 3: Brain said that once her turned it on this morning, the solenoid sparked when the machine was triggered. I looked at it when I came in. I found that one of the connections that one of the wires hooks up to, but totally fried, burnt off. It's pretty gnarly, honestly. I had no idea what to do and very little choice. Attempting to reuse it did not seem safe, although, there is no real place to connect the wire to anyways. There is also the factor that we do not have a replacement one either. I have a feeling if we used another off a skeball machine, it might have the same effect. Maybe all solenoids are not made the same, maybe this one was a lower voltage. I really have no clue. So I had to make the executive decision, well, more like it was made for me, that the machine would be down the rest of the night. Unless someone has any ideas, I guess we are going to have to hold off on this one till we get our replacements in.

Lane 5: I fixed the weird deck jams at 5 was having. It was just a matter of readjusting that pulley that was giving us problems two weeks ago.

I guess the other machines were embarrassed by 3's poor behavior, because everything else ran pretty swimmingly the rest of the night.

Damon and myself replaced the solenoid on 3. After which it started registering balls properly.

The thing to look out for, though, is we ghetto rigged the solenoid to it's connector rod with a zip tie. And the zip tie broke twice throughout the night. Until we get the proper pin for this, we are just going to have to keep replacing it when it breaks. It is an easy fix though, just run a zip tie through the bottom of the solenoid to the hole on the connector arm, done.

5: Was getting some weird pin jams in the 7 & 8 pin chutes every now and again, still haven't figured out why.

4: The shaker board seemed worse then normal today, the pins just seem to sit there and not more toward the pin wheel. I also had a couple of deck jams on it.

1: Still having those weird deck jams on the 7 pin chute every once in a while.

Problems with lanes:
Lane 1 - There was one deck jam in the 10 pin slot.

Lane 5 - multiple jams in the turnaround pan tonight. It was far more frequent tonight than it has been lately.

Lane 6 - There was a jam in the turnaround pan once and a piece of what looks like the beam that the motor is plugged into on the cross conveyor.

Lane 7 - Problem child! At the beginning of the evening, the spring had fallen off the right blocking finger, making the 5 pin chute trigger very difficult to trip. Thankfully Danny was still around and easily detected the source of the problem.

Lane 8 - the 2nd pin in the turret kept falling in slightly at an angle, which wouldn't trip the lever, and basically held everything up.

Actions Taken:
The usual nudging and unjamming. Danny put a new spring on lane 7 which should hold up fine.

Lane 4 - There were a couple of deck jams today. Also, there was a time when there were just pins laying randomly on the deck, and not jamming anything.

Lane 7 - The cross conveyor stopped at the 5pin today.

Actions Taken:

Tonight was pretty smooth.

Lane 7 was doing something I haven't seen in awhile. When resetting pins on it's 2nd cycle, it will put the pins on the lane and the clutch will disengage. So I adjusted the zip ties on the clutch lever and it hasn't done it since.

Lane 4: I took out the whole spider latch assembly to replace a broken screw. I replaced the other screw that was involved because it was pretty worn out on the threading. Perhaps the reason for it constantly coming loose? I hope.

Lane 2: We received a handful of complaints about the about the lane not registering balls. I looked at the A and A2 manuals for find the proper adjustment for this problem. What it comes down to, is when they installed the auto triggers, they removed the part(s) that the book told me to adjust. It also does not have the piece that the A2 Manuel told me to adjust, for obvious reasons. Point being (what I believe), is they took out all the manual triggering on the machine making it run off the autos, all the time. If someone knows this to not be true, please let me know.
-----------------------------------------bottom line----------------------------------
I was taught nothing about auto triggers. I have no problem trying to look at it and figure it out. But, I make no promises that I can fix it.

The Shaker board belt on 6 came off, pretty much when I walked through the door. I put it back on and haven't gotten any guff from it since.

Lane 2: Had a pretty bad streak of not detecting an occasional ball. But, after a while, it picked back up and didn't have any problems, kinda weird.

Lane 2 - Did not want to complete cycle at some point. Also, a few light and medium-light balls did not register.

Lane 4 - Had its somewhat frequent but maybe not too frequent need to be reset by the breaker.

Lane 5 - The same problem as last night happened again around 10pm. The spider doesn't want to move out the way completely, there's a phantom full deck signal. It caused a deck jam.

Lane 6 - The pit curtain fell off.

Lane 7 - The cross conveyor stopped a few times at the 5pin.

Actions Taken:
Lane 2 - Engaged it manually so that it would complete the cycle.

Lane 4 - did the circuit breaker dance and it worked!

Lane 5 - Reset it a few times and got the cycles back in order. Also unjammed the deck jams. When I turned the turret a bit backwards, the spider unlocked allowing the pins to drop.

Lnae 7 - Nudged pins.

Lane 5: the problem child today! Not in quantity so much as quality of the problem. The pit curtain fell off (minor).

Major: towards the end of the night, it is refusing to index. The spider won't move out of the way far enough for the pins to drop. I'm not sure why or how but yes, that's what's happening.

Lane 7 - The usual stopping at the 5 pin and not completing the cycles.

Actions Taken:
Lane 5 - I reset it a few times and all was well. For some reason, there was a phantom full deck signal at first but it went away. Still not sure what the initial problem was.

Lane 7 - The usual nudging and whatnot.

Lane 5 - Put the curtain back on.

7's ball wheel belt kept coming off, over and over... With Chevy's help, we moved one of the pulleys, and the problem is no more.

4 is still having a problem with getting the heads of pins caught between the shaker board and the ball wheel.... Just keep a look out

Everything ran pretty well all night.

Lane 4 is really our biggest problem. Without the proper linkage on the spider latch, it is going to continue to act up. I know we are working on getting the proper parts, but there are some things everyone needs to look out for. The two screws on both sides of the spider latch assembly keep coming loose. When they get to wobbly, then it becomes a problem. So, through out the day, go over (when you can) and tighten both of them. It takes a 7/17th. I know the area is not easy to get to, but it can be done. Also, connecting the latch to the prob, on our ghetto rigged links. Are two screws, one of the back and one of the front, both of these are held on with X washers. Every now and again, make sure they the x washers and still tight an holding. The main problem that is happen, is that the spider/spoons keep coming detached from the turret and not re locking. Just pull out on the prob until the roller is back under the latch. Sometimes the roller/spider goes to far to the right, just pull out the prob and psuh (kind of hard, actually) to the left, it hould pop back in place with the latch.

Keeping up with these things will not fix 4, but it will help it run it's best for as long as possible. And one day, soon I hope, we will be able to pop the proper shit on there.

Problems with lanes:

Lane 1 - The ball wheel belt came on. I couldn't get it back on for the life of me. The tension spring kept coming off the pulley. This happened later in the night so it didn't affect business at all.

Lane 4 - Pin jammed between the shakerboard and ball wheel.

Lane 6 - The ball wheel belt came off. The problem of the night it seems.

Lane 7 - The cross conveyor stopped a few times right before the five pin was dropped into the chute.

Actions Taken:
Lane 1 - Tried to pull the belt back on a few times but was unsuccessful. Told danny about it who said he would see to it early tomorrow.

Lane 4 - Unjammed things!

Lane 6 - Showed the ball wheel belt who was boss by making it stay on! (if only I could've done the same for lane 1)

Lane 7 - Nudged the pins along to their home.

Lane 6 - One of the bolts when missing on the pinguard on the shakerboard. I couldn't find one that fit and it made a really loud and awful banging noise that could be heard by customers.

Lane 7 - The usual stopping of pins at the five pin chute for no reason.

Actions Taken:

Lane 4 - Unjammed the pins.

Lane 6 - Took off the pin guard for the sake of the customers...and my sanity.

Lane 7 - nudged the pins to drop into the 5 pin chute.
