Problems with lanes:

Lane 1 - The ball wheel belt came on. I couldn't get it back on for the life of me. The tension spring kept coming off the pulley. This happened later in the night so it didn't affect business at all.

Lane 4 - Pin jammed between the shakerboard and ball wheel.

Lane 6 - The ball wheel belt came off. The problem of the night it seems.

Lane 7 - The cross conveyor stopped a few times right before the five pin was dropped into the chute.

Actions Taken:
Lane 1 - Tried to pull the belt back on a few times but was unsuccessful. Told danny about it who said he would see to it early tomorrow.

Lane 4 - Unjammed things!

Lane 6 - Showed the ball wheel belt who was boss by making it stay on! (if only I could've done the same for lane 1)

Lane 7 - Nudged the pins along to their home.

Problems with lanes:

Lane 4 - Had many pins getting stuck between the shakerboard and the ball wheel, which in turn would cause a pileup of pins and balls.

Lane 6 - One of the bolts when missing on the pinguard on the shakerboard. I couldn't find one that fit and it made a really loud and awful banging noise that could be heard by customers.

Lane 7 - The usual stopping of pins at the five pin chute for no reason.

Actions Taken:

Lane 4 - Unjammed the pins.

Lane 6 - Took off the pin guard for the sake of the customers...and my sanity.

Lane 7 - nudged the pins to drop into the 5 pin chute.

I messed up with my computer and blah blah blah, this is a recap of the last two days.,

After I made my last post, I did these things that night= 7/29

Fixed 5's light

Tightened the Auto triggers on 2, in hopes that why they were not registering balls some times.

Cleaned all the turn around pans.

Adjusted the pin gate lock, reshaped the spoons (some) on 7, in hopes that would stop it from locking and not dropping the 5 pin.

Worked on 4's spider latch......again....

The moving deck cable on 4 lost all it's tension. Not sure how, I believe it feel off the Geneva pulley. I put it all back together and is fine.

Also discovered why we are having so many problems with 4. One of the screws that holds the Spider latch in place, was completely broken off. Due to the confined space, and how much really needs to come off the machine to fix this, I was not able to make it happen. So, I pulled out some ol' zip ties, and it seems sturdy enough for now.

Then, 4's problem with double dumping became unbearable. Upon further examination, i discovered that the link we used to replace the the ones that broke off on the spider latch/probe assembly, was to short. In turn, it was allowing the probe to come all the way open, allowing the pins to drop without being stopped by the blocking fingers. I tried many different things to fix it, and wasn't sure what to do. So I came back in this morning (7/31) with a new plan. It should be all working fine now, it did for me at the time.

Lane 5 also took a shit on me last night, I have since forgotten what the problem was, I apologize for the sloppy work. My brain was fried after all this crap last night. I had my blog all written out, then accidentally shut my computer down and was in no mood to rewrite it...like I am doing now. When I get to work tonight, I will look through my notes and add it in my blog tonight. Although, I did fix 5's problem, so it shouldn't really be a problem anymore.

Anyone annoyed with my obscenely long blogs yet? ha, I am.

I ordered two of the turret clutch drive belts.

It was the 4th inning. Pinsetters 1, Machines 0. Then, out of left field, lane 5 through a curve ball (A broken Turret Clutch drive belt)....Must I go on in baseball terms? I know more Pinsetting terms then baseballs ones. Either way, the belt broke. At the convenient same time as one of the pulleys that works with it. Not my favorite out of the turret clutch drive pulleys. Actually, I think so little of him, I don't believe he even has a name. Long story short, I replaced the belt and re attached that unimpressive pulley. A few trial and error attempts later, she works just fine. I am about to looking into ordering some more belts, being that was our last one.

In other news, lane 4 was still having the same problem it has been. So, I grabbed a hand full of...you'll never guess....ZIP TIES, and it hasn't had a problem since, but keep an eye out.

Lane 7: Was having problems with deck jams and not receiving the fulldeck signal. I adjusted the Torsion trip arm and elongated it in a ghetto rigged fashion,

Lane 4: Was having a lot of peoples with the pins falling into the wrong chutes, if they even made it to a chute. A lot of deck jams were being caused and a lot of other weird things were happening. I tightened a lot of the slop, tied some shit together, did a lot of little things here and there. End result, it seems to be running fine. It ran for about 30 minutes after I adjusted everything, and it didn't have a problem. It's just the waiting game now.

Lane 1: Had problems with the ball return, the balls would get stuck on the track. This only happened once, and I looked and looked, but found no cause for it. So, keep an eye out.

Problems with lanes:
Lane 4 - Chevy's rig for the parallel links worked. I dremmeled! That is apparently spelled wrong.

Lane 5 - The turnaround pan jams have come back with a score to settle, it seems. This was the continuous problem of the night.

Lane 6 - Pit curtain kept falling off.

Actions Taken:

Unjammed 5, put the curtain back on 6.
