Problems with lanes:
First, thanks Danny! Your work really paid off today as the lanes were quite well behaved.

4- One turret jam. Otherwise, smooth as a smooth thing.

5- Two turnaround pan jams but much better than last night.

6- The 5pin release happened twice, the second time caused a mean turnaround pan jam. Don't catch 5's syndrome!

8-One turret jam but no deck jams today.

All in all, the ladies treated me kindly after drawing some blood last night.

After Kristin's heart breaking blog last night, I decided to come in early today and try to get these things under control. I did some work on 4's spider, to assure it will start locking better. I worked on 6's pin release lever, to try and take care of that weird 5 pin problem for once and for all. But I mainly focused on 5's turn around pan. I thought of another way to adjust it, so I did. I also pulled out the ol' dremel again. I gave it to it real good this time, trying some different things. I seems to be more flat where needed and more smooth(?) It has really done fine since, there was one jam in it, but it was a totally different kind then I have seen before, maybe that is a result of my adjustment? I am not saying it is 100%, but it does seem to be working fine/better. Well Kristin, I hope they treat you with more grace tonight.

In terms of problems today, there really hasn't been any, except that turn around pan jam on 5. I didn't even get any calls for Skeeball, which just blows my freakin mind.

Problems with lanes:
Really busy tonight on the lanes. And a lot of small but frequent annoying problems occurred. Allow me to list.

4 - A few deck jams. At least 4 throughout the night. The spider didn't lock into place, which caused the pins to slip through. It also had a weird turret jam that I lack the words to describe in brutal detail and so will one day illustrate to those interested parties.

5-FIVE. EVIL. So, there were deck jams in the 5pin chute (2 or 3) as well as over 6 turnaround pan jams. That turnaround pan NEEDS to be replaced. This happens every shift I work if 5 is used more than half an hour. It is especially bad on busy nights.

6 - The release of only the 5pin into the chute happened more than four times tonight. Dat's a lot.

8-Werid turret jams causing deck jams. It had jams in the usual 7pin slot as well as the 5pin chute (which I've never seen it do before - or at least not in recent memory), and slightly frequent deck jams.

That's the report for tonight.

This was a very busy brunch for bowling, I believe we were even on a wait for a while.
All and all, it was pretty smooth. There was an odd deck jam on 5, and a couple of vague complaints about "5 and 6 acting weird". Apparently dropping pins upon setting them, I don't buy it. That is out of creator for both of them. And some guy said that 6's rake just dropped down by it's self, I believe that was just his cover up for hitting the rake, which I did see him do. Either way, I guess some balls were retired last night? Apparently Adrian knows about this(?) We have had some complaints that we don't have enough lighter balls, I guess due to the fact that we lost some. So I am going to discuss with management today about getting some new ones in. That is all

Pretty much the only thing that was happened besides a deck jam on 4 and a turn around pan jam on 5, was 3's ball wheel belt. Imler was complaining about this problem for a lil while, and I finally experienced it for myself tonight. Brian told me to take a cool on the lower right hand guide roller, for the ball wheel. Indeed, is was fucked up and needed to be changed. I took what I needed off a scrap roller and popped it on. Seemed to work fine for a while, untill is started happened again. Our guy seems to be, now, the upper right hand guide roller. It has a tiny broken spot on it, that when it happens to it, will fall right off. I have also replaced that was well. aside from that, a pretty decent night for HB pinsetters all over the world.

I miss Brian already.

Problems with lanes:
Lane 6 did it's 5 pin thing a couple times.
Lane 8 had a deck jam.
Lane 5 had it's turn around pan problem.
Lane 3's ball wheel belt popped off a couple times the bottom right guide wheel needs tightening. Balls also easily go by the ball wheel and get stuck in the limbo of the pin the wheel. I think this may be solved once the guide roller is tightened and wheel sits in it's proper position.

Ordering: Large pizza with ham and pineapple.
