8/6/10

Name: Danny

Everything ran pretty well all night.

Lane 4 is really our biggest problem. Without the proper linkage on the spider latch, it is going to continue to act up. I know we are working on getting the proper parts, but there are some things everyone needs to look out for. The two screws on both sides of the spider latch assembly keep coming loose. When they get to wobbly, then it becomes a problem. So, through out the day, go over (when you can) and tighten both of them. It takes a 7/17th. I know the area is not easy to get to, but it can be done. Also, connecting the latch to the prob, on our ghetto rigged links. Are two screws, one of the back and one of the front, both of these are held on with X washers. Every now and again, make sure they the x washers and still tight an holding. The main problem that is happen, is that the spider/spoons keep coming detached from the turret and not re locking. Just pull out on the prob until the roller is back under the latch. Sometimes the roller/spider goes to far to the right, just pull out the prob and psuh (kind of hard, actually) to the left, it hould pop back in place with the latch.

Keeping up with these things will not fix 4, but it will help it run it's best for as long as possible. And one day, soon I hope, we will be able to pop the proper shit on there.
