Lane 2 is once again working. Through a process of doing a lot of different shit around the Geneva pulleys and their rollers, other pulleys, cables yada yada yada. Not sure which one was really the problem, but it works again.
Lane 5 is sadly still down. My search for a spare motor start relay was unsuccessful. There are some in the brunswick catalog, but it is Sunday and that is a no go for this moment. I will come in tomorrow and order that along with a turn around pan for the same unit. at least on the bright side, 5 now has a shiny new solenoid, so congratulations 5. Every old broad has her day.
